Higher secondary schools for nursing and care

At its school for healthcare and nursing at Schlachthausgasse Fonds Soziales Wien Bildungszentrum offers a 5-year upper secondary programme (“Pflege mit Matura”) which provides vocational education and training in nursing and care as well as university entrance qualifications. The programme is offered in cooperation with the secondary school for social care and nursing (“HLSP”) of Caritas Erzdiözese Wien and with the HLSP Bundesschulen Kalvarienberggasse (“K17“).

By taking the university entrance exam at the end of the programme, pupils will receive vocational qualifications as specialist care assistants and have the opportunity to enter university.
